Sonder The Abbey

The room was big, very clean and comfortable! In a central location! King-size bed!!! The reception was very helpful.

The hotel was charming with its art deco exterior and warm interior furnishings. It's across a park which is great and is only 5-10 min away walking distance from the beach. We love the location--- It's in a quiet street with the animated streets just around the corner. It was also walking distance to a lot of the main areas in Southbeach, even our Everglades tour pickup point was only 10-15 min away.

We had a good experience. The staf was very nice and it was close to the beach and Ocean Drive. The room was spacious. The bed was really comfy also.

Location is convenient, the staff is friendly, and you can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

The room was a good size with huge king bed which was very comfortable. We had 6 pillows and they were comfortable too. Bedding is high quality . Reception staff very helpful. Supplies of coffee, toilet roll etc can be located downstairs in reception area, so no worries if you need extras. We stayed 3 nights and liked the location and the hotel. We would return to this hotel. We’ve stayed in a number of other hotels in SB and this rates highly on our list compared to other much higher priced hotels which were not as good as this one. You can use the reception area to sit and eat your take away food and have a meal/snack or use the outside seating area which is nice on the street. There is a nice park to sit in outside the hotel too. Liked having a key code operated door for our room.
